BIOGRAPHY Doris AC Johnson lives for the love of writing. She has been journaling for over 30 years and formally began her writing career in 2007 at which time she wrote her first novel; You’ll Never Be Ready Until You Do It chronicles her personal battle with domestic violence. Since then, she has written Testing the Water and the sequel, Testing the Water AGAIN, a collection of short poems in; Release; the Casualty of Words, Dear Ex-Boyfriend (a humorous coffee table book), Flower Behind the Brick Wall, and Covert Significance. Doris is in the final stage of obtaining an MA in Applied Behavior Analysis. She is a volunteer for Sisters Acquiring Financial Empowerment (SAFE) and the Self-Injury Foundation. Doris does not consider herself to be a magnificent woman who is “Cinderella Beautiful”…just a woman with a vision who believes that “in order to get what you want; you must first decide to have it.”
